Founded 2021,Ascend Pro Services Ltd (formerly Star Ascend UK Limited) was established initially to focus on specialist recruitment within the education, health & social care sectors. Fast forward to today -we provide a broad range of specialist support services to schools, local authorities, children's residential homes and all other related settings across the UK.We're just going to be doing it differently!
Our founder has extensive experience of working with children and young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) including those with the most complex mental health, medical and behavioural needs. She also has experience in supporting children and young people who are at risk of permanent exclusion, at risk of disengaging from mainstream education, in local authority care, Unaccompanied Asylum Seeking Children (UASC),Looked after children looked after (LAC/PLAC),in the youth justice system or at risk of becoming involved with the youth criminal justice system.
With 15+ years of experience in the education, health and social care sectors, we provide trauma-informed, evidence-based interventions and a holistic perspective to address the unique needs of each young person. We firmly believe that every child should have the opportunity to learn the academic, social, emotional and life skills they need to achieve resiliency and succeed in their learning, living and working environments.We work in partnership with schools, children's residential homes, local authorities and all other related settings across the UK.
